Unicoi Annex Female-Jail Snapshot

TDOC's January 2025 Jail Summary gives the official reporting name Unicoi Annex (F). In that one-day report, the annex had 38 rated beds and 28 people, equal to 73.7 percent of rated capacity. The report also shows a June 22, 2022 inspection and an August 12, 2022 reinspection.

The figures are a dated operational snapshot submitted through the jail reporting system. They do not show the annex's current population, number of releases, annual bookings, average stay, or a release schedule. The “F” marker supports the female designation but does not define who may be assigned there in every circumstance.

Population totals should never be converted into an estimate of recent releases. Only person-level Sheriff transactions can show who departed, at what time, under which authority, and to what destination.
